The Bellachroy is an early 17th century droving inn dating from 1608. It is said to be the longest continuously inhabited building on the island of Mull. Until the late 1960s the inn was also a working farm and the buildings were converted at this time to provide the current accommodation and bars. We offer seven letting rooms with substantial discounts for accompanied children. Family rooms are available and our tariffs are among the most competitive on the island. Hotel accommodation is self contained away from the bars and residents benefit from a dedicated lounge / TV room with spectacular views over the village and glen.

Originally an 18th Century Drovers Inn, the Craignure Inn has retained much of its original character and the present bar is where the stables once were. Mull used to have an extensive network of Drovers Inns, where sheep were driven across the Island to be shipped to Lismore and then on to Mainland Scotland. Most of these buildings are now either derelict or in private ownership.
The Inn features in the book ¿Kidnapped¿ by RL Stevenson, although is referred to as the Inn of Torosay (Parish).
